Interconnections: A Celebration of Nature Thriving at the Intersection of Wildlife and City Life

Headwaters at Incarnate Word and Stone in Stream/Roco en el Rio host an outdoor poetry reading event at the Lourdes Grotto on the Incarnate Word campus.

Join eco poets from the Stone in Stream/ Roca en el Río for a reading of works about nature and wildlife in urban landscapes.  Readers include Jim LaVilla-Havelin, Suzanne Green, Pat Keoughan, Jeanie Sanders, Kamala Platt, Marisol Cortez, Violeta Garza, Annie Snider, and Jean Hackett. Seating will be available for approximately 50 guests.  Guests are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs, too.  Sun hats, sunscreen, and a filled water bottle are recommended depending upon the weather.

Parking is available at the Incarnate Word Chapel lot and University parking lots along Broadway located a short walk from Lourdes Grotto.  Parking and admission are free.
