On this relaxing walk through the Headwaters Sanctuary, Mobi will guide participants to use awareness of the breath in order to refresh body, mind, and spirit and to connect with the beauty of the natural world. She will also share the Buddhist practice of gathas – creating short phrases or poems that arise from simple tasks like taking a step or looking at a leaf that can help one maintain awareness, gratitude, and wonder. The walk is limited to 12.
Mobi Warren is a former student of the Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh and translator of several of his books including The Miracle of Mindfulness. Mindfulness has been the heart of her spiritual practice for over 40 years.
