Headwaters installed several native pollinator gardens on adjacent properties owned by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. These sites along with the 53-acre riparian forest, the Headwaters Sanctuary, allow Headwaters to impact a 75-acre urban habitat corridor.
Please volunteer to help Headwaters maintain these valuable native pollinator gardens.
Volunteers plant, weed, prune, and spread mulch at these gardens. Headwaters provides supplies and equipment. Volunteers bring their own water supply.
Register for the volunteer session by contacting howard.homan@gmail.com. Meet up locations, parking info, and weather cancellations are issued by email only to registrants.
We are not accepting walk-in volunteers.
