The Special Workdays listed for November 3, 4, 9, and 10 will be at the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word cemetery. At this site, we will be creating new pollinator gardens by preparing planting beds, digging holes, planting native plants, and mulching the beds. Headwaters continues to improve a native habitat corridor spanning 75 acres from Highway 281 to Broadway which includes the Headwaters Sanctuary.
Headwaters provides tools, equipment, supplies, and work gloves. Volunteers bring their own water supply. On Nov 3, the work session will run until 2:00 pm. Lunch will be offered to volunteers who stay for the full work session.
Register for the volunteer session by contacting: howard.homan@gmail.com. Meet up locations and parking information, weather cancellations, and any other info is issued by email only to registrants.
We are not accepting walk-in volunteers at this time.
