“GitHub is a code hosting platform for version control and collaboration. It lets you and others work together on projects from anywhere.“

The Headwaters organization has a Github account under headwatersgithub@gmail.com. Other Github users can contribute to this HeadwatersGithub.

Github should be updated whenever code is changed.

    Uses:

—> Keep track of old versions so you know what you’ve done in the past

—> Maintain a record so you have proven, working code to fall back to if your new code doesn’t work for whatever reason

—> Organize code so you can more quickly reference and copy elements for new pages (copy how to do a slideshow for example)
